UK broadcast regulator Ofcom revokes licence of China’s CGTN

China’s state-run television channel CGTN will no longer be able to broadcast in the United Kingdom after regulators revoked its licence.
The UK has been a leading critic of China’s crackdown on dissent in Hong Kong and alleged use of slave labour in Xinjiang.
The blocking of CGTN adds yet another diplomatic dispute to the already frayed relations.
