Libyans mark 2011 uprising with hopes pinned on interim gov’t

Libyans have marked the 10th anniversary of the start of the uprising that led to the overthrow and eventual killing of leader Muammar Gaddafi.
Crowds in the country’s second-largest city Benghazi, as well as Tripoli’s Martyrs’ Square.
A new interim government has been appointed with elections expected in December.
Libya has been mired in conflict for years as two rival forces battled each other but UN-led talks resulted in an October deal.
